{Energy Flows Where Intention Goes}

We are already a few months into the New Year. How are you feeling lovely?  The most wonderful blessing we have is that everyday is a new day. As the sun rises and sets you have the gift of choice. Around this time of the year many of us set resolutions. Maybe a few months into the year you feel yourself going back to default.  You may have to recalibrate and refocus. This is totally normal. Cheers to you for noticing and getting your head and heart back in the game.  Perhaps you’ve had success in writing your resolutions out and checking them off as you accomplish each goal. Some are able to simply declare in their minds and take immediate action. Here’s a question for you.

What would it look like if you simply set one intention for each day or week or month?

Before we dive in, let me clarify the difference between a resolution and an intention. An intention is defined as the thing that you plan to do or achieve : an aim or purpose; a determination to act in a certain way.  A resolution, on the other hand, is the act of finding an answer or solution to a conflict, problem; the act of resolving something; an answer or solution to something. When I look at these definitions side by side,

Intensions ring true for many simply because a resolution is defined “in pursuit of solving a problem or conflict”  and not everyone considers their journey; all of the ups and downs, major shifts and changes or little hiccups;  problems or a conflicts. Even in the toughest moments one can consider their journey an opportunity. We get to live and breathe through victories and challenges. As Jenny Fleiss says,  “ Embrace failure. Missteps and roadblocks are inevitable but are ultimately an opportunity to learn, pivot and go after your goals with new perspective.

Clarity on Intention + Believing anything is possible + Taking Action = Magic.

Take a second to really think about this. I am suggesting that if you declare your intensions, completely believe that they will happen, and become the driving force of action you will be cooking up a big bowl of magic. Bottom line is the more you declare, believe and stay in alignment with your dreams and intentions the more real they become. We will explore this equation further in our mentor membership , but for now lets get back to a few tips on setting intentions and creating some goodness in your world. As you step toward setting your intensions remember this:

Your Number One Teacher is YOU!

I am suggesting that the things you learn through personal growth, how you move through life experiences and the paths that you are choosing, are your greatest teachers. This year and every year it is important that you stay true to yourself and listen closely to your internal compass. I share this thought or concept to say,  only take what resonates with you and leave the rest.
